Town and Country warrants the following components of this product to be free from functional failure due to defects in material and workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the product: combustion chamber; firebox; and burner tube assembly. This lifetime warranty is limited to the repair, replacement or, at our discretion, refund as to the covered parts only.
Town and Country warrants the following components of this product to be free from functional failure due to defects in material and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of the original purchase of the product: electrical components; gaskets; and gas valve (glass, blowers, speed controls and thermal switches if applicable). Warranty coverage as to these components is limited to the original purchaser of this product, and is further limited to the repair, replacement or, at our discretion, refund as to the covered parts and labor.
Any covered component that, in our judgment, is defective shall be repaired, replaced or refunded at Town and Country's option. To obtain service under this warranty, please contact Town and Country. It may be necessary to return a defective component to Town and Country or to an accredited agent, transportation prepaid. At any time, Town and Country may at its discretion discharge all its obligations hereunder by refunding to the purchaser the wholesale price of the defective component.
The following conditions and exclusions limit coverage under this warranty:
- All installations and regular maintenance must be performed by a qualified gasfitter and installed according to all applicable local and national codes. It is the responsibility of the gasfitter to insure that the appliance is firing as per its rating plate.
- Glass is warranted against thermal breakage only.
- This warranty does not apply to any component or part that shows evidence of misuse, abuse, improper installation, accident or lack of regular maintenance.
- This warranty does not apply to any damage sustained to the appliance while in transit.
Any implied warranties which may otherwise arise under law, including without limitation any implied warranty of merchantability, are limited in duration to the warranty periods set forth herein. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
Town and Country's obligations under this warranty are limited to the repair or replacement of covered components that are found to be defective. This warranty does not provide any other remedies. Town and Country will not be responsible for any consequential or incidental damages, whether or not those damages are caused by a defective product. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
This warranty may not be extended or modified by our agents or representatives. Our agents and representatives are not authorized to make any oral warranty that is inconsistent with the terms of this Limited Warranty.
